Around the world, women are leading the way with effective, ethical, and empathetic leadership. International Conference for Women Leaders and Lifetime Achievement Awards is a quadrennial (every four years) event inspiring women leaders and upcoming aspirants. The conference includes keynotes, reflective conversations, panels, and presentations while we reflect, rejuvenate, and inspire each other and develop practice as leaders for today and tomorrow.
This year’s conference will host more than 100 key players in the political, economic, and social arenas from around the world, including ministers, state governors and their wives, members of parliament, heads of national and international organizations, non-profit leaders as well as international NGO’s. It will mark a significant turning point for the global agenda for gender diversity, equality, equity and inclusion.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is intended for individuals with at least four
(4) years of documented accomplishments who have had a significant impact on a large number of individuals and organizations in twelve critical areas of concern namely:-
- Women and poverty
- Education and training of women
- Women and health
- Violence against women
- Women and armed conflict
- Women and the economy
- Women in power and decision-making
- Institutional mechanism for the advancement of women
- Human rights of women
- Women and the media, Women and the environment and the girl-child.
More than 160 Women and Men will be honoured with a lifetime achievement award. Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest and most coveted award to be given this year. Its large International Participation will provide excellent opportunities for global sharing of expertise, best practice and valuable new professional contact from around the world.

About Us
Women in ICT Foundation is a non-for-profit organization providing technology education for women and young girls to resolve the problem of gender parity, bias, and under-representation of women in the technology industry, stem profession and in the workplace.
Our primary aim is to inspire, enable and support all girls and women in all walks of life using Information, Networks and Communication Technology to give them a way for realizing their dreams, overcoming problems and exploring their potential for success. Women in ICT empower women through all aspects of life, at home, in education and at work.
Our Areas of Intervention Includes but not limited to:
Effective Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Sexual and Gender – Based Violence, Women’s Economic Empowerment, Women, Peace, and Security, Climate Change Action, Democracy and Good Governance, Misinformation and Disinformation Teachout, Sexual & Reproductive Health, and Agricultural Technology (AgTech)

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Submit your nominations for Lifetime Achievement Award no later than 14th July 2022. To nominate someone or yourself, it is required that you send updated CV Including the nominee’s title and full contact information (address, email, and phone, Country). Nominations should be submitted electronically by PDF attachment mailto: info@womeninict.org
ALL Nominees must be able to attend the conference in person.
We advise you to submit your nomination as early as possible, so the nominee is able to accept the nomination and submit further information before the deadline. Once your submission is made, the nominee will be contacted with next steps regarding their nomination.
