Female Volunteers (Walk&Run) World Cancer Day Awareness

We are happy to announce call for female volunteers to our annual Walk&Run World Cancer Day Awareness; an initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

This is our Third year holding this event, and we have traditionally hosted more than 25,000+ Cancer educators, survivors, partners, non-profit leaders, and allies within the ultimate year of the “I am and I will” impact campaign.
We have made significant progress at a global level throughout this few years, encouraging Government, Policy-makers, Healthcare industries, Charity, Businesses and Corporate organizations, Research institutions and International Development Agencies around the world to prioritize cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment as a national imperative.
This is the equity gap – and it’s costing lives. Lack of awareness and social support, disability, finances, inadequate communications, patients getting “lost” in the system and failing to access care has disrupted effective cancer control and treatment.
To Close this Care Gap, we are happy to request the help of volunteers to join us “Walk&Run” to raise cancer awareness and education, improving early detection and advocating for access to cancer medicines and technologies.
